Optimizing health, preventing illness, treating acute and chronic conditions by using an integrative perspective that emphasizes all aspects of an individual's life…

Dr. Rodney Russell will be speaking to GIG of North Texas at the June 2nd meeting at 10AM. He is planning on speaking on topics such as autoimmune diseases, pH issues, brain health, and the seven essentials of health. These and other informative topics that people on a GF diet would benefit from hearing will be discussed with a Q&A session following.

As a chiropractor blending traditional techniques with highly advanced modalities, Dr. Rodney Russell is hands on with assessment and treatment going way beyond the quick fix for pain relief. His uniquely branded style focuses on the inside out, to not only heal discomfort but identify core clinical imbalances that lead to poor health. Using a dynamic patient-based approach, bolstered by his genuine care, Dr. Russell is a proven in his field as a "healer" with a gift for eliminating structural imbalance as well as preventing acute and chronic disease.

Dr. Russell holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Anatomy and a Doctorate in Chiropractic from Parker Chiropractic College. He is a Diplomat with the College of Physicians, a Certified Wellness Director, and a Fellow with the American Academy Integrative Medicine. Dr. Russell has completed advanced study course work in Bio Energetic Synchronization Technique (B.E.S.T.), Applied Kinesiology, Body Integration Technique (training held by few doctors in the U.S.), Functional Medicine, Total Body Modification, Neurological Organizational Technique and others. In addition, he is a pilot with commercial and flight instructor licenses. A native Texan and father, Dr. Russell has been in private practice since 1997 and is licensed in the states of Texas, South Carolina and Hawaii.

We would welcome your attendance at our June 2nd meeting. Adults and children over 10 please in respect for the speaker’s presentation. Please bring a GF dish to share with others and especially so the new GF patients can sample some good tasting creations. We will be in our normal room for the June meeting. Check the website directions and a map to The Hills Church, 6300 NE Loop 820, N. Richland Hills, TX 76180. Here is a link to a map of the church http://www.thehills.org/images/images_A7848/map%20of%20thcc.pdf. We are in adjoining rooms 214 and 216. If you are attending the GF 101 class, it will also start at 10AM (new time) and be in rooms 217 or 218.

Please be aware that by the time of our June 2nd meeting, the bridge crossing over 820 from the access road next to Walmart/Sam’s to the Hills Church may be closed (tearing down the bridge as part of the 820 road construction). If this is the case, we will post the following alternative directions on how to get to the church. Basically, you would take the Rufe Snow exit coming from either the east or west and turn South on Rufe Snow Dr. Take a right (or go west) at the first light, which is Meadow Lakes Dr. Follow this street down a few blocks to the back side of The Hills Church, which will be the last stop on your right.

If you have any questions, please contact Betty at manager@northtexasgig.com. Hope to see you there!
